"Beg pardon"

crocodile guarding her eggs

I got within six feet of this beast. "It's alright", said the guide, " she won't move unless you get between her and her eggs." Urgent query - "Where are her eggs?"

This crocodile was basking in the sun in Chobe National Park in Botswana.

Acrylic on canvas. 700 x 500mm.

Unmounted, £950.
